My Second Stop Motion

I was thinking of a couple new ideas for my second stop motion. One I was thinking of was Caleb or Chris take pictures of me on the driving range going back and my follow through and then my sinking a putt from like 70 feet. I think I will have relaxing music because that is the only sport that is relaxing to me.

First Stop Motion

I had a couple ideas on what to do on my first stop motion. I was thinking about stacking quarters and then down stacking them then spread them out across the table as they move around. I think this is a good idea for my first stop motion.

Thoughts on Photoshop

There is many things I have learned in these past weeks using Photoshop. I didn’t really know how to do anything in photoshop but now I can edit pictures and make them look decent. I didn’t like taken pictures but I did like editing them. I think this class has been very beneficial.

We did a couple projects in this class. We made a block poster in this class and I did mine on the Illinois sports Symbol. Then we went on to do a collage. I did my collage on all my hats and I cut out the sports team symbol. I didn’t mind these projects they weren’t as bad as what I thought they would be.

I think this a pretty fun class. I don’t mind this class it is one of my better classes. This class we never really have homework so that is a plus for this class. I like do edit pictures It is kind of fun to do.

Famous Photographers Eddie Adams

Eddie Adams was born June 12 1933 in New Kingston, Pennsylvania. His full name was Edward Thomas Adams. He was got married to Ann Fedorchak. He had 3 children with Ann before divorcing her. Then he later married Alyssa Adkins and had one child with her and then he died in 2004. The cause of his death was Lou Gehrig disease.

Eddie Adams took pictures of many different things. He took pictures of many different celebrities from Fidel Castro to Arnold Schwarzenegger. Some of his most famous work came during the Vietnam war. One of his picture is really famous most people when they think of Vietnam they think of this picture. The picture is of a South Vietnam general in Saigon and he is executing a Viet Cong leader. Adams won the Pulitzer prize for this photograph.

Arnett calls his pictures in the streets of Saigon “brilliant piece of photography.” The courage he has to stand a foot or two from a murderous officer who had a pistol out and shot the man in front of him.  Most of Eddie Adams work was done in black and white. He was a really good photographer because during the Vietnam war the way he put emphasis on storytelling, it brought a whole new way to photograph war. I think his war photos are really good, he gets really close to the pictures he is taking. He almost acts like he is not in a war.

Adams, who considers himself a patriot and a marine, never thought with the fact that the anti-war movement saw that photograph as proof the Vietnam war was unjustified. Adams believed until the end of his life that the picture only told part of the truth. The untold story was that on the day of the execution. Adams was a very good photographer and has many good photos on a topic interested in.

What I want to learn

There are a few things I expect to learn in this class. I expect to learn how to use photoshop and how to edit photos. I have used photoshop before but not very much. So I want to learn how to use that effectively. I want to know how to take good pictures, because all i know how to do is hit the button on the top to take the pictures. I don’t really know much about digital media. I know how to edit pictures with photoshop. What I don’t know is how to do it with efficiency. I also wanted to learn somethings about video too. I don’t know anything at all about video. So there are a quite a few things I want to learn in this class.
